Our 100th anniversary in 2025 marked a significant milestone for our law firm. On this special occasion, we introduced a new corporate design and changed our company name to Marxer Attorneys. Our new brand name “Marxer Attroneys” reflects both our tradition and history while embodying our commitment to progress.

Since 1925, Marxer Rechtsanwälte (now Marxer Attorneys) has been synonymous with top-tier legal counsel. What my grandfather, Ludwig Marxer, founded as one of the pioneers of Liechtenstein’s financial sector has grown into the country’s oldest and largest law firm — and we continue to expand.

100 Years of Marxer Attorneys at a Glance
Marxer Attorneys was founded in June 1925. Our history is one of continuous growth and evolution. Today, we are proud to be the oldest and, with around 40 attorneys and associates as well as more than 60 employees, the largest law firm in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
To mark its 100th anniversary, the firm issued a special postage stamp. The design features the socalled ‘Blue Villa’, a late classical and historic building whose soft blue hue accentuates its refined elegance. This distinguished city villa, located next to the firm’s current premises, served as the office of Marxer Rechtsanwälte in the early years following its formation.
As part of our centennial anniversary, the newly developed corporate design seamlessly blends the firm’s long-standing tradition with the demands of a modern and international out-look.
The brand name has been streamlined to strengthen brand identity and to reflect both our historical journey and our forward-looking vision.
